Economy, ranks and voting

How money, jobs, shops, ranks and vote rewards work on TalonMC, and why the server is free-to-play with no pay-to-win.

TalonMC is free to play with no pay-to-win. Ranks, crates and rewards are all earnable in game, and the store is limited to cosmetics and convenience rather than power.

Where money comes from

• Quests and PokeHunts, the main early and mid-game faucet.
• Legendary missions, which pay out substantially.
• Jobs, steady income for repeatable activity.
• Player trade, through shops and the auction house.

Ranks

/freerank grants a rank on your first join. Further ranks are obtainable through playtime, voting and events. Purchased ranks exist but sell cosmetics and convenience, not gameplay advantage.

Voting

Voting grants in-game rewards per vote, with streak bonuses for voting daily. You can vote here once every 6 hours. Be online in game when you vote and rewards arrive instantly; offline votes still count toward the ranking.

Claims

Land claims protect your base and your pasture from griefing. Claim before you build anything you care about.
