Short version: we do not run ads, we do not use tracking pixels, there are no accounts, and we do not sell anything about you. What follows is the detail.
What we store
- Votes. The Minecraft username you type, the server you voted for, a timestamp, and a salted one-way hash of your IP address. The hash exists purely to stop one person voting hundreds of times; we cannot reverse it back to your address.
- IP copy events. When you click a Copy IP button we record which server and which page, nothing about you.
- Server submissions. Whatever you put in the add-server form, including the contact detail you choose to give us.
- Server status history. Player counts and uptime for the servers we track. This is data about servers, not people.
What we do not store
Raw IP addresses, email addresses unless you submit one, browsing history, device fingerprints, or anything from an advertising network. We do not use Google Analytics or any third-party analytics service.
Cookies
The site sets no tracking cookies. If Cloudflare Turnstile is enabled on the vote form it may set a short-lived cookie purely to verify you are not a bot; that is Cloudflare's, not ours.
Third parties
- Cloudflare sits in front of the site and sees request metadata as any CDN does.
- Mojang is queried to check a submitted username exists before a vote counts.
- Google Fonts serves the two typefaces the site uses.
- Server owners receive your Minecraft username when you vote for a server that has reward delivery enabled, because that is how the reward reaches you in game.
How long we keep things
Vote records and copy events are pruned after a year. Server status history is kept for 90 days.
Removing your data
Ask us and we will delete any vote records tied to a Minecraft username you control. Contact details are on the about page.
