How breeding compatibility works
- Share a group. The two parents need at least one egg group in common. Many species belong to two, which widens their options considerably.
- Opposite genders. Genderless species cannot breed with each other, only with Ditto.
- Ditto is the exception. It breeds with almost anything breedable regardless of group, which is why a good Ditto carries every project.
- The offspring hatches as the base form of the mother's line.
- No Eggs Discovered means it cannot breed at all. Legendaries and mythicals mostly sit there.
