Cobblemon nature chart
All 25 natures, what each one raises and lowers, and the five that do nothing. A beneficial nature is worth roughly 120 EVs, so it is usually the cheapest large stat gain available.

Which nature should you actually run?
- Physical attacker: Adamant (Attack up, Special Attack down) if you need power, Jolly (Speed up, Special Attack down) if you need to move first.
- Special attacker: Modest (Special Attack up, Attack down) or Timid (Speed up, Attack down) on the same logic.
- Wall: Bold (Defence up, Attack down) or Calm (Special Defence up, Attack down).
- Mixed attacker: Naive or Hasty, which drop a defence rather than an offence. You give up bulk, but nothing you actually use.
- Never lower a stat you use. That is the whole rule. The five neutral natures are strictly worse than a well-chosen one, not safer.
Nature FAQ
What does a nature do in Cobblemon?
A nature raises one stat by 10 percent and lowers another by 10 percent. Five of the 25 raise and lower the same stat, which cancels out and leaves them neutral.
Can I change a nature in Cobblemon?
Not in the base mod, so you either breed for it with an Everstone or catch until you get it. Many servers add mints or a nature-changing item in their store or crate pools.
Which nature should I pick?
Lower the stat you will never use. Physical attackers drop Special Attack, special attackers drop Attack. Adamant, Jolly, Modest and Timid cover most of what people actually run.
Does nature affect anything besides stats?
In the mainline games it affects berry flavour preferences. In Cobblemon the stat change is the part that matters.
