Pokemon that evolve at a location in the main games, and how Cobblemon handles them
The main games evolve these at a specific place, such as a mossy rock or a magnetic field. Minecraft has no such places, so Cobblemon uses an evolution stone instead: Leaf Stone for Leafeon, Ice Stone for Glaceon and Crabominable, Thunder Stone for Magnezone, Probopass, Vikavolt and Charjabug. The location shown below is the main-series condition, kept for reference.

How to do it in Cobblemon
- Evolution stones generate as ore underground in Cobblemon, so mine them rather than hunt for a biome.
- A server datapack can change these triggers. If a stone does nothing, ask the server which method it uses.
- Sylveon needs high friendship plus a Fairy-type move, not a location.
Questions
How many Pokemon evolve this way in Cobblemon?
4 evolutions use this method in Cobblemon 1.7.3, including Eevee into Leafeon, Eevee into Glaceon, Charjabug into Vikavolt. The table above lists every one with the exact requirement.
Does this work the same in Cobblemon as in the main Pokemon games?
No. Cobblemon replaces the location with an evolution stone, because Minecraft has no equivalent places.
What stops an evolution in Cobblemon?
A held Everstone blocks every evolution method, and a server level cap stops level-based evolution until you beat the next gym. You can also cancel when the evolution prompt appears.
