Sylveon has a catch rate of 45, which is tricky
by Cobblemon standards. Bring its HP as low as you can without knocking it out, ideally with
False Swipe, then apply sleep or paralysis before throwing. HP, status and the ball's multiplier
all affect catch odds.
Where it appears depends on biome, time of day and weather. Our
spawn biome guide explains how to steer the spawn pool
toward what you are hunting.
Shiny odds are the same for every species, roughly 1 in 8,192 per spawn, so hunting a shiny
Sylveon is purely a volume game. See shiny hunting.
