Full effect

This Pokémon cannot be asleep. This causes Rest to fail altogether. If a Pokémon is asleep and acquires this ability, it will immediately wake up; this includes when regaining a lost ability upon leaving battle. This ability functions identically to Vital Spirit in battle.

Using Insomnia in Cobblemon

Abilities are passive and always active, so Insomnia costs you nothing to run. If it is marked hidden on a species above, expect it to be harder to obtain: servers differ in whether hidden abilities come from breeding, an Ability Patch, or events.
